Sanda Shandu is a South African actor, musician, and voice artist with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry.

After completing a BSocSci in Economics and Organizational Psychology at the University of Cape Town, Sanda made his stage debut in Orpheus in Africa (2015) at The Fugard Theatre. 

He went on to earn critical acclaim for his breakout role as Lucky Lukasi in King Kong (2017), which won him both Fleur du Cap and Naledi awards. Since then, he has garnered multiple award nominations for standout performances in productions such as Richard III, The Unlikely Secret Agent, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Promise, and Lungs. His theatre work has taken him from Cape Town and Johannesburg stages to London’s Marylebone Theatre.

On screen, Sanda has showcased his versatility in international and local productions including Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy, Skemerdans (Showmax), Donkerbos (Showmax), 1960 (Showmax), Mlungu Wam (Prime Video), and Soft Love (Prime Video).

Beyond acting, Sanda is the frontman of The All Stars, Get Lucky Entertainment’s high-energy corporate and wedding band. He is also working on his original music and is a seasoned MC known for his charisma and flair.
